Our team members are Gigi Chi Ying Lam, Lee Cheng, Edward Lun Wai Kit, and Charis Oi Lam Lee.

Gigi Chi Ying LAM

Gigi Chi Ying LAM is a musician-educator whose professional portfolio includes performance, composition, teaching, organizational development, event management and research. She has performed across London, Rotterdam and Hong Kong as a theater musician and song-writer. She is the co-founder of Little Bean Theatre, a family Cantonese theater based in London. She was an arts administrator and primary school music teacher before she started her doctoral study at Royal College of Music, London supervised by Dr. Jennie Henley and Dr. Dave Camlin. Gigi is a Charles Richard Sisson Scholar. Her studies are fully supported by the Great Britain-China Educational Trust, Dr Maggie Koong & Mr Terry Ng Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Goodenough Doctoral Scholarship and Cecilia Kwok Music Scholarship. Her primary research interest is around developing an understanding of community music practice in school music education, and the transferability of the practice to other professional domains, especially in NCS (non-Chinese speaking) language learning context.

Lee CHENG

Lee CHENG is an interdisciplinary artist-teacher and researcher. His research and artistic interests include music, technology, education, immersive and interactive media, digital and sonic arts, law and policy. His works have been featured as part of, amongst others, International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) World New Music Days, International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA), and International Computer Music Conference (ICMC). He is currently working as Associate Professor in Games at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), and serving different roles in multiple organisations including Convenor of the Music Technology Special Interest Group at International Society for Music Education (ISME), Council Member of the Royal Musical Association (RMA), Theory Examiner of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), and Arts Education Examiner of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC).

Edward Wai Kit LUN

Edward Wai Kit LUN is an emerging composer from Hong Kong who has worked on several award-winning film scores, including as an orchestrator for the “Office”, which won a Best Film Scoring, Hong Kong Film Award in 2016, and as a composer for the documentary “More than Conquerors” in the Chinese Documentary Festival 2016.

Charis Oi Lam LEE

Charis Oi Lam LEE is a registered social worker experienced in rehabilitation and elderly service. She graduated from The University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong with Bachelor of Art in Social Work, Master of Social Science (Gerontology), and recently Postgraduate Diploma in Music Therapy.
